Tanzania Port Authority (TPA) has ordered two mobile harbour cranes from Italgru for the port of Dar es Salaam.

With a maximum lifting capacity of 125 tonnes, the IMHC2120E electric models will be delivered to the port later in February.

The two cranes departed the port of Marghera in Italy onboard a BBC Chartering vessel.

Once commissioned in Dar Es Salaam, they will be used to handle containers and heavy goods.pharmaceutical sector.”
