Good News...

We are delighted to share that OPCA Brazil member AMS TRANSPORTES INTERNACIONAIS LTDA handled 18 tons filter from Santos to Guatemala.

Here are the details and short story of this shipment:

1 piece plus 5 Boxes



One of their partners from Guatemala contacted with them with a booking with NYK into RORO service. But Guatemala port cannot move MAFI equipments. So they wanted to buy a trailer to export with these pieces.

First Problem: Shipper didn't accept this logistic via roro service. AMS Transportes solved it by requesting a booking with other carrier, with Flat Rack.

Second Problem: it wasn't equipment available. AMS Transportes solved it by buying FR to load via Ship's owner. After the paid a commission to Terminal get a FR.

Third problem: Shipper didn't allow stuff into their factory. AMS Transportes solveD it by convincing to do this their and change their documentation in two shipments, one to big filter and 5 boxes by air.

Fourth problem: Terminal don't have space to storage FR. AMS Transportes solved it by contracting another warehouse to keep FR until Terminal accept it.

So, AMS Transportes loaded 5 boxes by air and 1 FR by sea to delivery the cargo in the end of September, that was the preocupation of the cnee in Guatemala.
