Fast & Direct Heavy Lift Solutions Services in Dubai joined forces with Intermax Logistics Solutions in Shanghai, China, to move a 42.7-ton mold from China to Syria.

The mold measured 52 meters long, 4.5 meters wide and 3.8 meters high, Cargo Equipment Experts said in a statement on behalf of both member companies. In addition to the mold, the cargo also included an 18.4-ton spar cap (25.43 meters long, 3.41 meters wide and 4.44 meters high) and 9.5-ton steel shear web root sections (14.6 meters long, 2.94 meters wide and 2.3 meters high).

Intermax collected the cargo from the factory in Taicang, Jiangsu and transported it and the related pieces to the Port of Shanghai. The cargoes were loaded on a vessel for the voyage to Syria.
