Van der Vlist has transported a barge from Zaandam in North Holland to Exmouth in the U.K.

The 18-ton barge measured 18 meters long. 4.25 meters wide and 1.6 meters high. It was collected from a depot in Zaandam and transported to the hook of Holland at the mouth of the Nieuwe Waterweg ship canal into the North Sea. The barge was loaded on a vessel to cross to Harwich, Van der Vlist said in a statement.

At Harwich, the barge was again loaded onto a trailer and made its way across England, along with private escorts. When the cargo reached Exmouth, it was unloaded by crane. Soon it will be moved to the shore and floated at high tide to its destination. The barge will be used by Exewake, a water sports provider, as a floating platform for its activities on the River Exe.
