Industrial engineering firm KBR has been awarded several major infrastructure construction projects in Australia.

The three projects are expected to be significant drivers of breakbulk traffic and include the Gateway South project and SA Water capital works project in the Adelaide and the Metro Tunnel project in Victoria.

“We are pleased to be involved in these significant infrastructure projects that are strategically important to Australia’s future growth plans. These wins build on KBR’s strong portfolio of Australian infrastructure projects and reflect our long-term commitment to supporting customers in the Asia Pacific region,” said Greg Conlon, president of KBR Asia Pacific.

The two Adelaide projects are among the largest infrastructure developments in the state, and will see KBR provide project management, design, procurement, engineering management and construction management services.

Headquartered in Houston, KBR operates in more than 80 countries worldwide providing a wide range of industrial construction services.
