ZPMC Crane Services has transported and installed the tallest port crane in North America APM Terminal’s Pier 400 in the port of Los Angeles.

The project involves upgrade of 10 cranes at the port as well as installation of an energy-efficient LED lighting system, forestay repairs, and repositioning of equipment.

ZPMC Crane Services is the service and support team for Chinese multinational engineering firm Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries, or ZPMC. The subsidiary was formed in January this year and is currently working on working on projects to install new cranes in the port of Jacksonville, Florida, and Port of Charleston, South Carolina, which both handle significant breakbulk traffic.
