Good News...

Glad to share with you the professional performance of OPCA member NTEX AB, Sweden.

They successfully handled a transport of helicopter from the island of Gotland on Swedish East Coast to Stockholm Arlanda for on forwarding by air transport to the U.S.A.

During their Agency Relation Manager Mr. Jerry Nilsson's summer holiday, they got the mission of transport a rescue helicopter from the airport of Visby which is a small domestic airport.

Mr. Jerry made an on-site visit at the hangar during dismantling.

They had to prepare and coordinate crating with dismantling team and issue dangerous goods documentation including shippers responsibility.

Helicopter was transported with a low bed trailer and then ferried to the mainland.

ULD build-up was completed and due to the size of shipment, security control was provided with dogs.

After that it was loaded into an aircraft - a split charter Boeing 747-8F - for transportation to the U.S.A.
