Good News...

Glad to share with you the professional performance of OPCA member NTEX AB, Sweden.

They successfully handled a transport of helicopter from the island of Gotland on Swedish East Coast to Stockholm Arlanda for on forwarding by air transport to the U.S.A.

During their Agency Relation Manager Mr. Jerry Nilsson's summer holiday, they got the mission of transport a rescue helicopter from the airport of Visby which is a small domestic airport.

Mr. Jerry made an on-site visit at the hangar during dismantling.

They had to prepare and coordinate crating with dismantling team and issue dangerous goods documentation including shippers responsibility.

Helicopter was transported with a low bed trailer and then ferried to the mainland.

ULD build-up was completed and due to the size of shipment, security control was provided with dogs.

After that it was loaded into an aircraft - a split charter Boeing 747-8F - for transportation to the U.S.A.

Glad to share with you the professional performance of OPCA member POLARIS SHIPPING AGENCIES LLC, United Arab Emirates.

Project Team of Polaris Shipping Agencies handled local operation for a project delivery ex Europe at Port Hamriyah, Sharjah.

Their scope was completing all related inward customs formalities, receiving shipment ex under hook store in designated storage area and subsequently delivering to receivers site to their convenience.

Shipment of construction equipment is approximately 2000 Freight Tons that included heavy lift with unit weight is 70 MT was received with suitable trailers without any delay as required.

Construction Equipment shipment arrived on liner terms to receive cargo as fast as since vessel can discharge.

Furthermore, the shipment arrived on BBC Vesuvius operated by BBC Chartering who are represented in Middle East by Polaris Shipping Agency division which enable Polaris Projects to coordinate the delivery smoothly.

They successfully completed a shipment of bucket wheel from Magdeburg, Germany to La Negra-Antofagasta, Chile.

Operations of the shipment in Germany handled by OPCA member BLS Bremer Logistic Service GmbH, Germany successfully.

The shipment picked up from Magdeburg and trucked to Hamburg, Germany. Then it sailed to Angamos Port in Chile.

The cargo consists of a bucket wheel with 820 x 820 x 215 dimensions.
